r f f The Nesakwatch traverse was the final of the alpine traverses that I had as a goal for the summer. I completed the Tantalus, the Viennese-Recourse-Clarke and the Golden Ears traverse in July and August, and this one was still yet to be completed with only about a week left of summer. This trip was also up there on Tyler's list, so as soon as I saw a bluebird day in the weather we started making the plan. The forecast stayed fantastic, and Tyler picked me up in Horseshoe Bay late on Wednesday night and we made the drive up to the Rexford trailhead. The road is in pretty good condition aside from the road washout just a few hundred meters from the original trailhead, it is likely doable with a SUV. We set up a quick cowboy camp for 4 and a half hours before the early start.
