Mount Addenbroke - 1591M 1591M Prominence 50.23160, -124.68613 August 7, 2026 Peak 1360 - 1360M 100M Prominence 50.24068, -124.68294 August 8, 2026 Mount Addenbroke is one of the coastal summits in my local area that for years I thought would be interesting to climb. It is not a particularly aesthetic or striking peak, but the stats are pretty interesting. Due to the fact that Mount Addenbroke sits on a relatively small island (East Redonda), it is an ultra prominent peak, and it's forested slopes are pretty steep from any aspect. The crew for this trip consisted of a group of local guys I had gone to school with, and somehow they all liked the idea of a sufferfest and a bushwhack, even though none of them are peakbaggers nor climbers. Caiman, Inti, Ben and I hopped on Caiman's little aluminum boat and left from the Okeover marina mid morning on Friday.
