 Monte Boletto - 1236M 120M Prominence 45.833603 9.142465 1100M elevation gain  May 22 2023 I had a few days to kill before a flight out of Milan. I took a quick train to Como, a small lakeside town in the north of Italy. I spent all day walking around town by the lakeside, in the evening I made my way up the mountain side, the trail passed through the small village of Brunate, before continuing on to the summit. The views on the summit were quite spectacular, overlooking the lake and the beautiful hills surrounding me. I camped out on the summit and then went back down the following morning. I then made my way to the train station to head back into Milan.  Superga - 672M 188M Prominence May 3, 2023 My sister and I embarked on an adventure from Nonna's house to visit the iconic Basilica Di Superga. This church was completed in 1731 is steeped in history, with tombs and intricate designs. Starting from my Grandma's house in Castiglione Torinese we took the city bus down the road past San Mauro in direction to Turin. We kept going and eventually ended up at a transit stop that put us near the base of the trail network, we hiked up the road a little further and then took the trails up to the church. The church itself sits right on top of Superga, which it evidently shares the name with.
