My sister and I embarked on an adventure from Nonna's house to visit the iconic Basilica Di Superga. This church was completed in 1731 is steeped in history, with tombs and intricate designs. Starting from my Grandma's house in Castiglione Torinese we took the city bus down the road past San Mauro in direction to Turin. We kept going and eventually ended up at a transit stop that put us near the base of the trail network, we hiked up the road a little further and then took the trails up to the church. The church itself sits right on top of Superga, which it evidently shares the name with. The way back was identical to the way up.

Slide Mountain South Summit - 2068M 68M Prominence 50.16995, -124.29306 Jan 18-19, 2025 It is slightly painful to write this report as I did not end up successfully completing the true goal. Triple Peak

Triple Peak (main summit) - 1557M 936M Prominence 49.15741, -125.30228 June 3, 2025 10H 50M C2C, 9H 20M Moving 1050M Elevation gain The main purpose of this weeks Island trip was to climb Triple peaks, Tyler and I had been planning this one for a few months now, and we expected it to be nearly fully melted off by this time of year. Unfortunately from the top of Steamboat Mountain 2 days prior, I could already tell that there was more snow than we were hoping for. We still went for it though, and are very glad we did. On the morning of the third we drove from Comox and arrived at the Triple peaks trailhead at 8:20. Bags pre-packed, we immediately got going. It is marked as a summit on most maps though, as the ridge itself is quite prominent.
