Colorado Trail detour

Coney Point is the peak that lies just above the high point of the Colorado Trail. After a very enjoyable morning of sunrise hiking along the ridge that Coney lies on, I figured it couldn't hurt to add a few more meters of gain and bag another peak. Looking over the steep West side of the summit, the views were quite enjoyable too. It turned out to be a good spot to take a break, have a snack and brush my teeth.
