Sargent's Mesa was another one of the peaks that the Colorado Trail passes over. While hiking the trail, you barely even feel yourself summiting a peak, even if it does have a sliver of prominence. This is mostly just because it is a very gradually sloped mesa. Later in the day after some more hiking, I ascended Middle Baldy, Middle Baldy was also just along the trail, and definitely leaves something to be desired for. A slightly more interesting objective might have been Long Branch Baldy a few miles before. But none of these peaks are that interesting, so I just kept the hike going and focused on the Colorado Trail.
