On day 25 of my HRP hike I made my way through the north of small country of andorra. I felt obliged to bag a peak in a new country, and one of the closer ones to my route was pic de la serrere. I spent the night before in park encodia just before  community of el serrat. I then made my way up past the refuge de sorteny and into the sorteny natural park. I planned to male my way up the south west side of the mountain in order to incorporate it into my route, l but once i got there the trail on my map didnt exist. Instead, i made my way up to the collada de meners at 2700M, and from there i dropped my bag and quicly mafe my way up the south east ridge. The ascent was nothing more than a hike on broken shale on a somewhat existent path. Pic de le serrera is andorras 4th highest peak. Comically, the 2nd highest peak is 2915M, the third is 2914M, then pic serrere is 2913M. Regardless, there was great views of all the other higher peaks in this small nation, including pic de lestanyo just to the south. Great views of yesterdays pica destats were also seen, and if you looked further into the distance, you could even see Aneto and it's glacier. After hanging out with the one other person that was on the summit for a few minutes, i head back down to col des meners to pick up my bag, then condinued heading East through andorra. I then passed refugi coms de jan, refugi de cabana sorda, and refugi de juclar, where I had a lovely swim. After this i passed by a handful of lakes and crossed the border back into france, where i soon set up camp for the night again, leaving a short day to get into hospitalet pret landorre for the next morning.
